These trainers are experienced IASC participants and well-versed in Astrometrica. They can help with questions concerning Astrometrica or issues regarding MPC reports.

She was a participant of the Introductory Astronomy Course at Abilene Christian University (June 2008) and of the Summer Astronomy Institute at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (June-July 2008). She works with the participating citizen science groups as they first learn to analyze image sets using the software Astrometrica.

Joshi is a Mechanical Engineer by profession and doing Astronomy & Astrophysics by passion. He has made several preliminary detections in IASC Campaigns. He was also invited for the CSS-NEO Search Campaign and had important Near Earth Observation. He has worked with the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Rajasthan in communicating Science & Popularizing Astronomy by organizing "DST- Rajasthan Asteroid Search Campaign" and several other activities. He is now pursuing "M.Tech in Science Communication" at National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture under the recognition of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
Silvana has an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and post-graduate studies in Mathematics Teaching Methodology and Physics. She teaches at Ramon Sanches Marques Public School. Since 2016, she and her students have participated in the International Meeting of Astronomy and Astronautics. And since 2017, she has participated in IASC asteroid search campaigns with her students. She handles IASC training for citizen science groups located in Tangara da Serra MT, Brazil.
Alberto is the founder of the PTY Astronomy Club and a mathematician, psychologist and amateur astronomer. He has collaborated with the International Astronomical Search Collaboration (IASC) for 10 years, is an active member of several astronomy clubs and is part of the human resources of the National Committee for Astronomy of the IAU in Panama.
Alex is a high school student at Ramon Sanches Marques school in Tangará Da Serra Brazil. He has an astronomy club called Astronomicamente, is a member of the CAS Avance Astronomy Club, and is a supervisor of the LCO Project at the club. Participated 3 consecutive years in the SNCT National Week Of Science And Technology and in the International Meeting of Astronomy and Astronautics in Campos in 2019.
Caio is a high school student at Colégio Avance in Tangará da Serra MT, Brazil. He is 16 years old, a member of the Avance Astronomy Club, and supervisor of the asteroid hunting campaign at his club. Participated in the International Astronomy and Astronautics meeting in Tangará da Serra.
Luana is currently a high school student at Avance College. She has worked since 2014 with astronomy and astronautics projects. Luana participated in the 2015 National Week of Science and Technology in Cuiabá, MT. She worked at Missão X, in Tangará da Serra, from 2016-2019 and was a speaker at the International Meeting of Astronomy and Astronautics, Campos dos Goytacazes, RJ (2019).
Saneru is currently a undergraduate student studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Liverpool John Moores University, UK and Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics at University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. He is also a public speaker in the fields of Astronomy, Astrophysics, Rocketry and Mathematics. He is a 4-time Participant at IASC campaigns representing Sri Lanka, with 50+ new preliminary detections within those 4 campaigns.
Shams is currently pursuing undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering from National University, Gazipur, Bangladesh. He is an engineering student with endless enthusiasm for astronomy and astrophysics and is involved in various astronomical clubs and organizations in the country and abroad. He is also working as the 'Chief Strategy Officer at Bangladesh Astronomy Research Collaboration, Ltd'. He is the official trainer of "All Bangladesh Asteroid Search Campaign".
Hasibul Hossain Rifat is an undergraduate student in Physics from Independent University, Bangladesh. He is the Founder & CEO of “Bangladesh Astronomy Research Collaboration, Ltd” and the official trainer of “All Bangladesh Asteroid Search Campaign.” Hasibul is a participant of the “3rd Kathmandu Astrophysics School – 2020” and a former academic volunteer for the IAU. Astronomy is his passion since childhood and he is engaged with various kinds of astronomical research organizations, events and research projects.
Preksha Sethia is a Computational and Integrative Sciences graduate from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. Over the years, she has worked with some of the leading NGOs across the globe to ensure that every child gets access to quality knowledge. She has been part of multiple IASC campaigns and made 145+ preliminary detections, including one provisional discovery. She has a strong passion for making science, especially accessible and understandable to students all across the globe.
Ms. Aditi Sharda is a student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Una (HP), India. She is a science student with endless enthusiasm for astronomy and astrophysics. She recently made a provisional asteroid discovery.
Mr. Akash Sahu is a high school student, studying in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Chisda, (CG) India. He has participated twice in the National Science Congress and recenty made a provisional discovery of an asteroid. He is very enthusiast & eager about space learning, especially astrophysics.
André has a Doctor and Master degree in Engineering and Materials Science and is taking a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, has MBA in Entrepreneurship, Post-graduate studies in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering, also in Ambiental Management, undergraduate degrees in Materials Engineering and Mathematics and Technical degree in Meteorology. He has more than 25 years in Air Navigation Services and has teaching and research expertises in Aeronautical Science. Since 2020 he has been participating in the MCTI and International IASC Asteroid Search Campaigns and have been a volunteer trainer for citizen science groups as they first learn to analyze image sets using the software Astrometrica in Brazil.
Ilavenil is an astronomy educator from South India. She has completed her Masters in Physics and M.Phil (Research degree) in Theoretical physics. She has presented papers in the Global Hands-on Universe conference in 2019, 2020 and 2021. She is a member of Global Hands-on Universe and Hands-on Universe India. She has guided students in asteroid searches from 2017. She feels that the searches are the best way to expose students to research techniques, and is keen to help in every way possible.
Agna Correa Britis Baldissarelli has a Masters in Literary Studies and a Degree in Art, Letters and Literature. She develops projects in the area of STEAM. Agna is an official IASC Trainer and the coordinator of the Caça Asteroides MCTI Brasil 2021 and 2022.
Hozana Donatila Delgado is a student of the National Professional Master's Degree in Physics Education and is a high school teacher. Since 2018 she has participated in IASC Asteroid Search campaigns and currently assists in the MCTI Asteroid Hunting program (Brazil).
Guoyou Sun is an amateur astronomer devoted to astronomy popularization and education. He discovered hundreds of new objects of various types, including comets, asteroids, near-Earth asteroids, supernovae, novae, exoplanets, variable stars and so on. Asteroid 545756 was named after him. Since 2020, he has led multiple teams to participate in IASC Asteroid Search campaigns and currently assists in the China Skywatcher Asteroid Search Campaign (CSASC).
Dr. Trudi Hoogenboom is a Planetary Scientist with a Ph.D. in Planetary Geophysics. Trudi has worked as a research scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the Lunar and Planetary Institute, and the Arctic Planetary Science Institute. Trudi also teaches Space Sciences at Astra Nova School. Born at SpaceX, Astra Nova is an online school for kind, independent, and daring kids. In addition to teaching Astrogeology, Space Entrepreneurship, and Orbital Debris, her students use AI to locate caves on Mars, publish peer-reviewed research papers, present the results of their research at global scientific research conferences, and compete in international science competitions. Using IASC, her students have located >30 provisional asteroids.
Alan is an undergraduate student with a deep passion for Astronomy. He has made 55+ preliminary detections and 7 provisional discoveries in IASC Campaigns. He loves communicating science to young enthusiasts and the general public, helping them understand our place in the Universe.
